Privacy Notice

Namibia Horse Mackerel is operated by Abba Industries. This notice explains how information is used to provide the marketplace. Contact support@africabba.com with privacy questions.

Information processed

Depending on how you use the service, we process account details such as name, email address, telephone number and country; seller business details and listing content; messages and quote requests; saved offers, orders, ratings and reports; and device or service logs needed to protect the marketplace. Sellers who request business verification may submit business registration records, national identity documents or passports. Verification documents are restricted to authorized review staff.

How information is used

We use information to create and secure accounts, publish and manage fish listings, send quote and order notifications, review business documents, moderate reports, support buyers and sellers, prevent fraud, maintain service records and meet applicable legal obligations.

Sharing

Information needed to respond to an inquiry or complete a trade is shown to the relevant buyer or seller. Service providers may process information for hosting, email delivery, payment processing and security. We do not ask users to send full card numbers or security codes to marketplace staff. Payment details are handled by the payment provider when in-app checkout is available.

Retention and deletion

You may request account deletion in the app or at Delete account. We delete or de-identify personal information associated with the account, except limited records that must be kept for completed trades, payment reconciliation, disputes, security or legal obligations. Access to retained records is restricted.

Security and international trade

We use access controls and security measures appropriate to the information handled. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Buyers and sellers may be in different countries; information required for a requested trade may therefore be processed in the countries where the marketplace and its service providers operate.

Children

The marketplace is intended for business users and adults conducting commercial trade. Do not create an account if you are not legally able to enter into a commercial transaction.
